Meld Beauty Giveaway: Sukin Australian Natural Skincare
WE’RE really excited to be launching the first of Meld’s Australian beauty brand series, and this week, Emily Quak introduces you to an affordable and environmentally friendly brand called Sukin.
Sukin is a Australian natural skincare brand that, to quote the company line, “doesn’t cost the earth”.
It’s a family-owned and run business and was launched in 2007. Sukin aims to offer luxurious, natural products that are not only effective, but affordable. Their products canvas skincare, hair, and body care, and all of Sukin’s products are free of sulphates, synthetic fragrances, animal derivatives, harsh detergents, petro-chemicals, artificial colours, triethanolamine, mineral oils, EDTA, PABA, and parabens.
The company even makes sure their products are packaged in environmentally-friendly, recyclable packaging. And they’re accredited by the Choose Cruelty Free program, a company dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals.

1. Facial Moisturiser 125ml. RRP $9.95
This moisturiser recently featured on A Current Affair as Priceline’s top-selling moisturizer for under $10. The lightweight cream combines all-natural, effective ingredients to promote healthy skin renewal and minimise the signs of ageing.
2. Moisture Restoring Night Cream 120ml. RRP $19.95
Hong Kong’s 2009 Watson’s Health and Beauty Awards named this their Gold Winner, and it’s easy to see why! This cream combines skin healing rosehip, evening primrose and borage oils to assist the nightly repair and restoration of healthy skin cells, while aloe vera soothes tired skin.

My personal favourites Sukin products are their Purifying Facial Masque (makes your skin baby smooth) and their Hydrating Mist Toner. I spritz the mist on my finished makeup and it adds such a gorgeous dewiness to my look!
