Up Close & Personal with JinnyBoyTV in Melbourne

GET Up Close & Personal with the boys behind Malaysia’s JinnyboyTV, Jin Lim and Reuben Kang , as well as YouTube personality Marianne Tan when they visit Melbourne this October! We tell you how.

We’ve told you all about Jin Lim before – Malaysian radio DJ and YouTube filmmaker – when he dropped by Melbourne a few months ago. Now he’s coming back to our city, but this time with his partner in crime – and our favourite Psy impersonator – Reuben Kang, and their the star of “Unfold”, Marianne.

On Friday, October 26, the boys behind JinnyboyTV – and viral videos “Only in Malaysia”, “Abuden?!” and “KL Style” - will tell you all about the journey they’ve been on to become some of Malaysia’s best-loved visual storytellers. And we’re sure they’ve got some interesting stories to tell. After all, this duo’s videos have garnered over 13 million views in the few months since they started up their YouTube channel in January this year.

You’ll also get the chance to preview something they’ve been working on before anyone else does!

Fans of JinnyBoyTV here in Australia also have another reason to get excited: Jin and Reuben will be filming the sequel to their popular short “Unfold” – right here in Melbourne. So really – why deprive yourself of the chance to find out more straight from the guys and Marianne themselves?

Meld Magazine and Soulmanna Live are proud to present Up Close & Personal with JinnyboyTV on Friday, October 26 at Arrow on Swanston. Tickets range from $15 to $30 and can be purchased here.

About

Meld Magazine was incorporated as an independent not-for-profit media outlet in September 2008 to reach out to international students in Melbourne, and provide students the opportunity to gain real work experience.

Many international students live in or around the city because of the proximity to their colleges and universities, and that was where we decided to focus our efforts first. Many of us live, work and study locally too. Our editorial team is made of both local and international students, and it has worked to our advantage in providing local content in every sense of the word.
