Integration Day

HOSTED by the Young Sri Lankan Professionals and Monash City Council, Integration Day is aimed at helping international students and migrants gain know-how in the areas of employment, legal advice, education, health and more.

Integration Day

Integration into a new society can be a challenge for migrants and international students, and the awareness of the challenges involved and knowing how to face them is important.

International students and migrants are invited to take part in Integration Day next Sunday October 13 at the Glen Waverley Community Centre.

Hosted by the Young Sri Lankan Professionals and Monash City Council, the day is for the benefit of promoting social, economic and cultural inclusion of migrants within Australia. Speakers will be dealing with the fields of employment, health, law advice, banking, education and hospitality to inform and assist participants in whatever field they operate in.

The day also offers an opportunity to network with speakers, as well as for students and migrants alike to attend workshops and receive coaching throughout the day. Best of all admission is completely free.

Integration Day takes place on Sunday, October 13 from 2.45 to 6.00pm at the Glen Waverley Community Centre. Admission is free.
