Functioning both as a hotel and as a suitable accommodation site for the growing number of international students studying here in Melbourne, Arrow on Swanston certainly has a unique sense of community amongst its inhabitants.

First established in 2000, the hotel and student accommodation site is located in a convenient area of the city with easy access to public transportation right outside Arrow on Swanston’s doorstep.

The hotel also has completely serviced apartments both for long term residents such as students and short-term visitors coming from overseas or interstate.

As a hotel, Arrow on Swanston offers travelers all the standard hotel amenities you need in a serviced and furnished apartment. Guests of the hotel also have complimentary access the hotel’s fitness facilities which include its pool, gymnasium and sauna.

For international students, part of Arrow on Swanston’s mission is to ‘foster a sense of community and camaraderie’ among the students staying at the accommodation site. They’ve achieved this by organising events such as Housewarming Parties, Orientation nights, sports days, Easter Camps and Talent Nights for students living on site

In conjunction with Arrow on Swanston, Meld Magazine is holding a competition for one lucky winner to have a night’s accommodation at Arrow on Swanston.

Winners will be contacted and will have to organise a date for the stay with Arrow on Swanston’s staff.
