If you’re a paella enthusiast, this event is not to be missed. Queen Victoria Market will be filled with leading paella chefs from around the Pacific to take part in the 57th Concurs Internacional de Paella Valenciana – Pacific Semi-Final.

Entrants are required to cook a traditional paella recipe and are given one hour to race through the iconic Queen Victoria Market for ingredients then head to the pans to create their dish.

The two day event will be a celebration of Spanish food and culture, so there will be plenty of additional Spanish food and goodies all around as part of the festivities.

So whether you love paella or are someone who just loves good food, head to the market this weekend and have the food festivities you needed for the weekend.
