All books will be valued at $1 with all proceeds going directly back into the library service.

Ever have thoughts of one day visiting Portugal? Are you someone who has already been visited and want to re-experience it? Or perhaps you’re Portuguese and feeling a little homesick?

Whatever it might be, you won’t want to miss out on A Taste of Portugal, a cultural festival taking place at Queen Victoria Market this weekend!

As the event name suggests, get but a taste of the culture that’s alive and well in Portugal and other Portuguese-speaking nations like Brazil and East Timor. From gourmet Portuguese cuisines, history lessons, music and dance performances and information about tourism to Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries, it’s all here at the festival!
