Fair@Square recruiting volunteers

Fair@Square, the largest festival promoting fair and ethical trade in Melbourne, is recruiting volunteers for this year’s event.

The event will take place from Friday December 2 to Sunday December 4 at Federation Square.

Volunteers are needed for a number of aspects of the event, including the information hub, activity tent, fashion show, fair entertainment, start up, finish up, event support as well as photography and videography. Students who are studying media and communications or marketing may apply to volunteer for the role as a public relations assistant, while computer-savvy students can put up their hand as a volunteer for website support.

Volunteers need to commit at least four hours of their time, but it will be a good opportunity to meet people with similar interests and expand their social network. All volunteers will also receive a certificate of participation.
