Sustainable Student Fashion Design Challenge 2012

ARE you passionate about fashion and the environment? Do you have an eye for design? Well then, here’s your chance to craft an ensemble fit for the Fair Fashion Show runway!

Fashion students will get a chance to parade their sustainable designs down a runway at this year’s Fair Fashion Show at the Fair@Square festival. Fair@Square is an annual fair trade and ethical event promoting smart, sustainable behaviour. It’s on from November 30 at Federation Square and is recognised as the trendsetter for environmentally-friendly fashion in Victoria.

The Sustainable Student Fashion Design Challenge 2012 will give fashion students a chance to show off their best earth-friendly creations. So if you’re enrolled in a fashion course this year, simply pull out your sewing machine and get to work on an outfits made from sustainable materials for a shot at having your designs on display.

The challenge closes on 31 October 2012.
