Step Off! Dance Crew Competition 2013
THE Step off! Dance Crew Competition is back this 2013, and now is the time to register. So hurry!
Moonee Valley Youth Services’ Step Off! Dance Crew Competition in partnership with the City of Melbourne is back this 2013.
More than 450 dancers competed in last year’s competition, and organisers expect even fiercer competition this year.
Categories include school, junior, varsity and open divisions, and the dance crew competition focuses on choreographed movement performed in unison with influences from street dance culture in the form of movement, dress attire and performance.
Performance should encompass elements from street dance styles as well as the choreographer’s personal interpretation of the movement to music.
Registrations close at 5pm Tuesday, February 26, or if spots have been filled earlier. Places are limited, so do get in early.
