The Mixer: A laidback networking event for communications students
ARE you studying journalism, marketing, public relations, or communications? Student group Graduate Communications invites you to The Mixer, a fun and casual networking event. Hui Jun Ng tells you the details.
Graduate Communications is a student-run initiative community with an aim of connecting communicators of all backgrounds.
It is a great opportunity to mingle with brilliant communicators from The Age, the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA), Ogilvy and more.
With no speeches and no name tags involved, The Mixer is an opportunity for students studying Communications to meet their potential colleagues in a fun and casual environment.
Internship positions and any communications-related news can be found on their official Facebook page.
“Like” Graduate Communications on Facebook and you will be able to purchase tickets at $10 each.
The event will be held on Thursday, 19 September from 7pm onwards at High Society (23 Bourke St, Melbourne) and tickets can be bought online via trybooking.
