THE official word is out and we have the full details of Korean boyband BTS’ upcoming tour here in Australia. Deborah Goh tells all on what avid K-pop fans have in store at the 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode 2, The Red Bullet.

It is official – popular seven-member South Korean boy band Bangtan Boys, otherwise known as BTS, will be performing on Australian soil this July!

The group, comprising of Rap Monster, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, V, Jimin and Jungkook, has taken a unique approach to their tour, telling their personal stories through a series of exciting and thoughtful song and dance numbers, or “episodes”.

The 2015 BTS LIVE TRILOGY consists of three episodes, with each reflecting a different part of their journey.

The show will open with Episode II – a look back in time when they were the voice of troubled teenagers, and move on to Episode I, showcasing their journey from the group’s early days and their rise in popularity to become the ones that teenagers look up to. How episode III will conclude will depend on the fans – as they invite input from their followers on how they should conclude this tour.

BTS will kick off their tour Down Under in Sydney on July 10 before heading to Melbourne on July 12.

Despite being relatively new to the K-Pop scene, the group has already gained a loyal following, held concerts in numerous international locations and collected multiple accolades at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards, Seoul Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards.

If ticket sales for their first show in Seoul are anything to go by – with the first round of tickets selling out in five minutes – fans of BTS here in Australia will want to get in early to avoid disappointment.

Ticket sales will commence April 17, and can be purchased through Ticketek online or at any Ticketek outlet.
