Learn the tips of the trade to stay healthy and in-shape during the flu season, with practical demonstrations on how to create tasty, and healthy food recipes – and minimise your supermarket shopping budget in the process.

Prepare to roll up your sleeves and dig for a bargain at a unique, old-school market coming to Fed Square this weekend.

Don’t let the weather deter you, because Melbourne’s suitcase market stalls will be situated inside The Atrium – an architecturally designed indoor gallery that is sure to keep you warm.

The suitcase rummage is just that – asustainable market where stallholders sell whatever goods they can fit into their suitcases. Look out for vintage wares, handcrafted goods, clothes, books, jewellery, records, and a whole range of bargains and collectables.

Best of all buyers, entry is free!

Koala Conservation Day Walk
Sunday, June 14; You Yangs Regional Park (Branch Rd, Little River, Victoria)

Fancy seeing a koala in its natural habitat? Less than an hour southwest of Melbourne, a Koala Researcher will help you find and observe them in the wild.

The day experience is subsidised heavily by funding and donations, so for only $20 you can spend the day exploring a national park with a wildlife professional, knowing that 100 per cent of the proceeds go directly towards supporting Koalas.

In addition to koalas, you may even witness a few echidnas, Aussie birds, and kangaroos along the way! It is a great opportunity, particularly for international students, to discover native Australian wildlife, and make a difference in the process.
