Cool down this summer with a 300-metre slip ‘n’ slide right in the heart of Melbourne!

There’s plenty of sustainably recycled water to get you through the heat, and you can even bring your own floaties, blow-up animals, and water pistols to enhance the fun!

Prices vary from $25 to $60 so be sure to check out which offer is best for you at Slide the City‘s website.

Can’t make it? Opt for the 75-metre water tub at Federation Square, which opens for a whole week from January 9 – 16.

Sunset Sounds
Sunday, January 10 – 24 (6.00pm) | Prahran & Malvern

Sunset Sounds is a series of three free concerts at Victoria Gardens (Jan 10), Malvern East’s CentralPark (January 17), and Malvern Gardens (Jan 24), featuring some of the biggest names in Melbourne’s music scene.

This weekend, you’ll be able to see multiple ARIA award-winning act The Audreys perform live!

Soak in some balmy sunlight, sip in some mellow music, and sample tasty treats from nearby food trucks.

Melbourne Latin Summer Festival 2016
Saturday, January 9 (12.00pm – 9.00pm) | Federation Square, Melbourne

Down at Federation Square, the Melbourne Latin Summer Festival salsas its way into town, promising a day of fun-filled Latin flavour!

Marvel at the circus-inspired roving performances and parades of Latin music styles, including salsa, reggaeton, cumbia and bachata.

Enjoy a wide range of street foods inspired by the cuisines of Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Brazil.

And explore Latin art and culture from their crafts, jewellery and fashion stalls.

Collingwood Children’s Farm Farmers Market
Saturday, January 9 (8.00am – 1.00pm) | 18 Heliers St, Abbotsford

Open on the second Saturday of each month, Collingwood Children’s Farm opens its award-winning farmer’ market bringing together more than 50 Victorian producers and an impressive display of fresh produce, free range meat, and local specialties.

Don’t forget to sample the celebrated Victorian seedlings, Holy Goat cheese, and Moondara blueberries.

This event is plastic bag free, so bring your own shopping bags! Entry is $2 per adult.
