VAMFF 2016: Four Seasons in One Night
INTERNATIONAL fashion design students will have their works showcased at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival’s ‘Four Seasons in One Night’ event, hosted by Study Melbourne. Find out what you can expect from the event.
This year’s prestigious Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival will unite Victorian institutes, former and current international students to showcase an exclusive collection for ‘Four Seasons in One Night’, hosted by Study Melbourne as part of the festival’s Cultural Program.
Featuring fashion designs from Melbourne’s past and present international students, the launch event of ‘Four Seasons in One Night’ — a riff on the old Melbourne adage of ‘four seasons in one day’ — will take place on February 25 between 6.00pm and 9.00pm at 524 Flinders Street, Melbourne.
Each season in the exclusive collection will be inspired by a different continent, which in turn will reflect Melbourne’s multicultural qualities as well as the role fashion plays in the local community.
The launch itself will be FREE to attend though you will still need to RSVP to ensure entry as spots are limited.
If you’re unable to attend the launch, Study Melbourne will be exhibiting the collection from February 25 – March 13. The exhibition will allow students a chance to engage with these designs and celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of their fellow international students.
The exhibition will be open Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm at Study Melbourne Student Centre, located on 599 Little Bourke St.
