O2 Spring Jam
Friday, December 16 – Saturday, December 18 (Various Times) | O2 Dance Studio (25 – 29 Wangaratta St, Richmond)

Worried about getting stuffed with Christmas food and losing that summer body goal? Not a problem, O2 Dance Studio has got you covered this weekend.

Head to O2 Spring Jam to dance it out and burn your troubles away. There will be three classes on Friday for $15 and five classes on Saturday for $25 (that’s $5 per class!). Featuring a special line up of Melbourne’s top choreographers, the event brings to you the artistic talent of Lanie De Castro, Etienne Khoo, Martijn Sedgfield and many more.

O2 Spring Jam gives you the chance to learn from the best while getting more bang for your bucks. Dance it out this weekends so you can hop into Christmas feeling ace and looking great!

‘Who’s Afraid of Colour’ at NGV Fed Square
Friday, December 16 – Monday, April 17 (10.00am – 5.00pm) | The Ian Potter Centre, NGV Australia (Federation Square, Flinders St & Russell St, Melbourne)

Starting this Friday, the National Gallery of Victoria will present a magnificent composition of work by a range of Indigenous female artists, including Julie Gough, Destiny Deacon, Emily Cam and many more.

“Who’s Afraid of Color” incorporates the use of digital, synthetic and organic materials to explore color and assert the politics of identity. The exhibition will also feature photographs that exposes Indigenous disadvantages and repugnant instances of institutionalized racism.

The exhibition is free for all visitors and will feature large bodies of work from the NGV collection that have never been shown together. From outspoken inventions to quiet reflection, the artworks of these talented artists will surely leave you fascinated.

West End Art Park
Sunday, December 18 (12.00pm – 4.00pm) | Trenerry Property (185 Rosslyn St, West Melbourne)

This Sunday, four of Australia’s most acclaimed urban artists — Georgia Hill, Phibs, George Rose and Ken Taylor — will transform a West Melbourne car park into a celebration of art.

Unlike the conventional settings of art galleries, ‘West End Art Park’ allows audiences to witness the designing process as well as interact and engage with the artists as they work.

The event will also be accompanied by live music curated by Perfect Day Music, a bar and food trucks to keep you energised throughout the afternoon.

Witness an artistic creation in the making, jam to chill tunes and enjoy good food, all for free!

Kensington Market
