‘Lights by Dreamworks’ exhibition to illuminate Rosebud
Ever wanted to see gigantic lantern versions of your favourite Dreamworks characters?
From March 25 to April 30, Dreamworks Animation’s most beloved characters will light up the Mornington Peninsula through its extraordinary large-scale lantern exhibition, Lights by Dreamworks.
Like the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival, this exhibition will bring more than 100 illuminated designs of Dreamworks’ many characters from films such as Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon and Madagascar.
In addition to these large lanterns, the exhibition promises to be a sensory joy for its visitors. A variety of scenographic pieces, LED furnishings, themed technology and learning zones will be present at the exhibition. There will also be an immersive cinema experience and even animatronic dragons!
Lights by Dreamworks has previously been presented in Chile and London. For its Australian run, the exhibition will be hosted at The Village Green in Rosebud which will give overseas students a great opportunity to also explore one of Victoria’s regional seaside towns as well.
Lights by Dreamworks is a ticketed exhibition. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster. For more information on Lights by Dreamworks, visit the exhibition’s official website.
