Melbourne Women in Film Festival
Friday. March 3 – Saturday, March 4 (Various times) | Treasury Theatre (1 Macarthur St,  East Melbourne)  

To celebrate the achievements of Melbourne’s female filmmakers, the annual Melbourne Women in Film Festival (MWFF) will kick off this weekend for two days of diverse programming for women.

Taking place at the Treasury Theatre, things you can expect from this year’s edition of MWFF include a retrospective screening of pioneering feature films in Australian history and panels on gender inequality and progress by female filmmakers.

So this weekend, learn more about the amazing efforts of Australia’s finest women in film — from cinematographers and directors to producers and sound designers — and make an effort to support #womeninfilm.

Autumn Design Market
Sunday, March 5 (10.00am – 5.00pm) | The Atrium, Federation Square

The Melbourne Mystery Market returns this weekend to Federation Square with 75 stalls of designers and craftspeople filling up the Atrium.

As the name suggests, none of the stalls will be made known to the public until the day of the event. All we know is that, like most markets, you can expect a variety of different things like jewellery, art, fashion items, beauty care and more at the Autumn Design Market.

Snacks and food will also be provided to help replenish your energy as you shop your way around town.

La Di Da Laneway Food Truck Festival
Friday, March 3 (4.30pm – 9.30pm) | La Di Da (577 Little Bourke St, Melbourne)

One of Melbourne’s most iconic garden laneways will become your culinary ticket around the world this weekend as La Di Da makes way for a food truck festival.

Food trucks you can expect at this festival include:

Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival 2017
