The world of relationships is a complicated one. Miscommunication, navigating emotions and determining what’s right for you and your partner are just some of the things that can make or break a relationship.
To assist international students understand more about themselves, their friends, partners and all there is to know about relationships, we invite you to participate in Meld’s upcoming event, Sweet Nothings: Dessert Time Relationship Conversations.
What better way to engage in deep and meaningful conversation than over free dessert? Sometimes the best conversations about relationship issues come from dessert time!
Join Meld and other international students on Tuesday, August 15 at the Multicultural Hub for a fun and free evening of honest and insightful small-group discussion. This might not be the kind of sweet-talk you’re used to, but we reckon this could be better.
For more information about the event, visit our Eventbrite page.
The event is free and part of a PEER Project supported by the City of Melbourne through a community grant.
A year-long campaign, the PEER Project aims to help international students build healthy community, explore and find peer-support on issues around identity and gender, discuss common struggles and stereotypes, and gain the confidence to navigate current and future relationships.
