The time has come once again to participate and cheer on for your favourite sport or athlete. Back again this year for its 50th Anniversary is the ASEAN Games Australia (AGA) 2017, uniting and enhancing relationships between the ASEAN community in Australia state-wide.

The AGA is an annual sporting event that supports the importance of leading a balanced lifestyle amongst university students, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Hosted by the ASEAN Youth Organisation of Australia (AYO) and in collaboration with various ASEAN-based student representative bodies, the games will highlight Southeast Asia’s diverse cultures.

In celebration of its anniversary this year, AGA 2017 aims to gather people of all ethnic backgrounds and cultivate an appreciation for ASEAN food, culture and of course, sport. Open to all ASEAN individuals, the games are not limited to only university students.

Come along to witness the community get involved in sports such as Badminton, Basketball, Futsal, Netball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball at the Monash University Clayton Campus from September 22 to September 24.

Registration to the 2017 ASEAN Games Australia have now closed but attendance to watch your country representatives is free! Don’t miss out on the action of ASEAN Games Australia this September!
