Take part in a once in a lifetime chance to set a Guinness World Record on Friday, March 23 by joining the Study Melbourne Dance Party.

Study Melbourne is looking to set a record for the most nationalities in a dance party and who better to do this with than international students!

Help showcase just how multicultural Melbourne is by dancing the afternoon away with some friends. If you have two left feet, worry not because dancing skills are not a requirement. Great music, food, games and prizes will part of the day’s proceedings, ensuring all students are entertained, well-fed and having an amazing time.

You’re are also encouraged to visually represent your home country with your wardrobe – create a sea of colors and proudly show off where you’re from! Flags, scarves or any iconic traditional wear will be more than welcomed.

Now onto the nitty-gritty… There are requirements to set the Guinness World Record. To ensure that you qualify in helping set the world record:

  • Students MUST come with their passports to prove to judges how many nationalities are at the dance party
  • The dance party must also go on for more than 15 minutes in a sectioned off area in the venue

Sound easy enough? If you and your friends would like to attend, click here to visit Study Melbourne’s website for more details and registration to the event.

The Study Melbourne Dance Party will take place at Testing Grounds (1 – 23 City Rd, Southbank) on Friday, March 23 from 3pm – 5pm.
