Witness the official launch of the City of Melbourne’s Christmas makeover as the city is transformed into the Christmas capital.

Come to City Square, renamed Christmas Square for the month of December, which is the centerpiece of Melbourne’s new Christmas decorations program. Join Santa as he takes time out from his busy schedule, sing along with carolers and watch the traditional Christian blessing of the newly created City of Melbourne nativity scene. At dusk, witness the official lighting of Christmas Square, launching 31 days of Christmas in Melbourne.
