MUSIC enthusiasts and party-goers rejoice! We are giving away a pair of tickets to Hennessy Artistry – The Global Art of Mixing. Regina Karis tells you how you can catch DJs Ryoku G (Malaysia), Emcee E.J. (Singapore), Daniella Sya (Malaysia) and Roxy June (Thailand) live in Melbourne.
This November, Hennessy Artistry – The Global Art of Mixing returns to Melbourne, promising an unforgettable night of visual innovation and not just another music experience.
Hennessy Artistry has had a presence on the global music scene since 2006 and this year it’s brought together an eclectic line-up of international musical talents to play at Seven nightclub on Friday, November 16.
From Malaysia, we have Ryoku G, who spins everything from old school R&B to electro house to dirty Dutch music. Arguably one of Johor’s most influential DJs, he’s known for his unique, versatile mixing talent and occasional tongue-in-cheek mixes.
Singaporean party-goers may be excited to hear that Emcee E.J. –MC to the three biggest clubs in Singapore – is also performing, along with Daniella Sya, a triple threat” Malaysian actress, model and TV host.
Last but not least, Pioneer Pro DJ Lady Championship 2010 winner Roxy June will also perform at Hennessy Artistry. A self-taught Thai female DJ specialising in tech-house, techno, progressive and electro music, she now works as a host for Thai TV program CH5.
Hennessy’s Australian brand manager Damon Ross-Walker says he is thrilled at this year’s line-up of artistes.
“Hennessy Artistry is all about the blending of musical and artistic talents,” he says.
Hennessy Artistry will be held at Seven nightclub, South Melbourne, on Friday, November 16, 2012, starting from 10.30 pm.
Pre-sold tickets are $22, guest list tickets $25, and general door tickets are $30 each.
