TAKE part in a short Youth Affairs Council of Victoria safety survey by this Wednesday March 6 and stand a chance to win a $50 JB HI-FI voucher.

The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria (YACVic) is running a short survey to find out about how safe young people feel when they are out and about in the Melbourne CBD.

The survey, which is expected to take around five minutes to complete, is open to people aged between 12 and 25-years-old, and responses will be kept completely confidential.

Participants will be asked about their perceptions of safety in situations such as spending time with friends, going to events, attending live music gigs, shopping, eating out at restaurants and going to or from work.

The results of the survey will go into a paper YACVic is writing, and help develop their policy advice about what can be done to make the Melbourne CBD safer.

If you complete the survey, you can choose to go in the running to win a $50 JB HI-FI voucher. The survey will close at 5pm this Wednesday, March 6.

If you have any questions about the survey, please email Lisa Morstyn at policyandresearch@yacvic.org.au or phone 9267 3799.
