Pedestrians injured by rogue driver in Bourke St police chase
UPDATE: Victoria Police have confirmed three dead with at least 20 injured.

A rogue driver has run down pedestrians, leaving a reported 12 victims injured in Melbourne’s CBD following a police pursuit.
According to Victoria Police’s Twitter, “emergency services are assisting multiple patients but at least one person has been confirmed deceased”.
Bourke Street Mall is currently under heavy police surveillance and Bourke St has been closed between Williams St and Swanston St until further notice.
Several witnesses claim to have also heard gunshots.
International students living and working in Bourke St and around the Melbourne CBD are advised to stay indoors and stay safe.
Police are aware that a number of people have been injured in the CBD. The exact circumstances of the events are still being determined.
